Esko,

It seems possible that it was an outburst of this radiant. I just
looked at my original
data and noted only two of them had apparent trains despite their
brightness, implying
that they may have had velocities less than a stream like the Perseids
for instance. Then
it would be hard to say what the actually velocity was, but if we assume
that the other five
seen without trains were SLD, and omit the two trained meteors as
sporadic pollution, it is
very possibly an apparent outburst the *Southern lambda Draconids*
meteor stream. Very
interesting. It would be interesting to see if Video or Radar
observation exist around the
time period I was out, or before and/or after I saw them.

Suspected Meteors from SLD or New Radiant - 11-2-13, 6:15-8:15 UT

Time (UT) Magnitude Color Train Dur. of Train
      6:18 2nd white no
      6:19 3rd " "
      6:26 2nd white "
      6:44 1st blue-green yes 3 sec.
      7:22 3rd yellow no
      8:08 -1st " yes 3 sec.
      8:11 1st " no

Thanks,
