I observed again last Friday morning; this time the weather favoured the east end. Shane Finnigan came along for a midnight outing to the Moosecreek site. We stayed out for a couple of hours, and I saw 31 meteors. Once again, the sky was mostly clear but very hazy (with a LM averaging 6.1 near the zenith). The cool temperature kept the mosquitoes away. The rates were not nearly as good as on my two previous two sessions. The SDA's were fairly active during the first hour, but were nearly silent later on. The Perseids produced a small handful of meteors. A nice night though with lots of dim stuff. Just as I ended my second hour, the sky started clouding over.

Nicest meteor was a mag +1 blue Perseid with a 20 degrees long path.
