The haze and light pollution of the DFW Metroplex along with the light from the SuperMoon, were too much for the Perseids. I spent three hours between 1 and 4 AM on the morning of the 13th and an hour during the wee hours of the 14th outside with dSLR with no meteors to show for the effort.
However, I did record an abundance of meteor pings during the morning of the 14th.

Frequency: 55.249 MHz, USB
Antenna: 3 element 6 meter yagi at 60 feet AGL, fixed northeast (not optimum for signals originating from Mexico)
I suspect that the channel 2 analog TV transmitters are primarily located in Mexico, the Caribbean or Central America, or some combination. A few could still be located inside the U.S.

I saw a three: a - 6 yellow with train duration of 8 seconds in the bright Moon light and two of mag. - 4 both orange, one of which had a train lasting 5 seconds. The best Perseid hour was 0830-0930 UT when I saw seventeen. Kappa Cygnids were very sparse, but the best was white, got up to mag - 5 then popped/flashed to at least mag - 6 at the end.

Atmospheric conditions made for long-enduring, spreading jet contrails, slowly drifting North to South, which became an increasing problem after 4 am CDST. Somewhat more horizon haze than previous night, but not bad till spreading jet contrails became a problem.
