The forecast for clear skies seemed to be accurate.... at first. Then 
a sheet of clouds swept down from the north shutting down the show.

I continued with informal observing through the moving sheet of 
broken clouds. Saw quite a few grazers low in the sky to the south. 
These must have been very bright because no stars were visible in 
that part of the sky due to light pollution and haze.
