(meteorobs) Only One Geminid Seen Dec. 15/16 - Greenbelt, MD

Fellow Meteor Observers,

I was clouded out on both the 13/14 and 14/15, but finally had marginal
conditions here in Greenbelt, Maryland at the City of Greenbelt Observatory
last night from about 2:00 to 2:20 UT. There was lots of high Cirrus clouds
and a LM of only about 4.0, but I managed to see three meteors, only one
of which was a Geminid. Despite the crappy conditions, at least I saw one
fairly nice 2nd magn. Geminid. Of the other two, one was an Antihelion and
the other was a fine 2nd magnitude MON with a pretty yellow-green color.

       Date Time (UT) Obst, LM
  12/16/14 2:00-2:20 40% 4.0

1 ANT 3rd magn. white
1 MON 2nd magn. yellow-green
1 GEM 2nd magn. white

Starry Skies,
GWG
