(meteorobs) Geminid Meteor Radio Echo Recordings in NTX

Audio recording of meteor radio echoes received in North Texas during the peak of the Geminid meteor shower on December 14, 2014 around 1120 UTC. Left audio channel is 55.239 MHz and right audio channel is 55.249 MHz. Signal sources are channel 2 analog TV station video carriers.

Here is a higher quality monoaural recording from 55.239 MHz between approximately 1215 to 1230 UTC.

The receive antenna for the second recording was a three element yagi pointed northeast. More head echoes are received using the wire yagi aimed at the zenith. Note that the three element yagi has a null at the zenith.
