(meteorobs) Iowa meteors

Finally another clear night.  I was out for four hours 11:00 pm - 03:00 am CDST (0400-0800 UT).  During the fourth hour there were patches of thin cloud moving rapidly from North to South for about 25 minutes, then it got fairly clear again.  At 03:00 am it was nearly clear, but within five minutes fast moving low clouds moved in from the north and it was completely overcast.  This was disappointing because during the fourth hour I saw eight SDA's and most likely I would have seen more during a fifth hour if it had been clear.  I will try again tonight.  Forecasts vary from partly cloudy to mostly clear - will have to check before midnight and see what really happens. 
My usual site McFarland Park 4 miles NE of Ames, IA.
I saw no PAU's.   Also no ERI's, but these would have most likely occurred during the last hour before the beginning of morning twilight and I was clouded out during that time.
