Re: the fireball report.

Very good!  I saw a bright meteor also coming out of a place near the 
projected Camelopardalid radiant.  I think it could also possibly be 
a precursor to the coming shower.  Mine was about magnitude minus 2, 
slow moving, and   crossing about a quarter of the sky.

The new shower is less than 6wo weeks away now.
