(meteorobs) 209P/LINEAR Meteor Shower Question

  I've recently read the predicted shower on May 24 is also called the "May
Camelopardalids". Is there an official three-letter designation for this
shower, like "PER" for the Perseids? Or is the IMO waiting for confirmation
that the meteors will appear at all? I'm mainly asking for reporting
purposes. Thanks! Paul Z.
