I went out five hours Tuesday morning and at the beginning of the session the LM was as good as it ever gets at my usual observing site. Orionids by hour: 3; 3; 6; 11; 11. The brightest Orionid was - 4. I don't know if the Orionids weren't as good as usual this year, or if age is catching up with me.
McFarland Park 4 miles NE of Ames, Iowa. (93 deg 34 min W; 42 deg 05 min N)
Shower meteors looked for: EGE; LMI; ORI; STA; TCA. No apparent LMI's or TCA's seen.
