I was able to get in another two hours of meteor observing this morning,

but the Lyrids seemed completely over. However, there was an increase in

the number of sporadics, and the ANT meteor numbers were also good again.

The most beautiful meteor seen was a very nice 0 magnitude blue-green AEC

meteor at 6:20 UT. The most interesting thing seen was three simultaneous

5th magnitude sporadic meteors all at once within a 20 degree area and all

going in different directions; two of them crisscrossing. Two were swift

and one was medium speed. It was less exciting than the Lyrid mini-outburst

three mornings ago, but was still enjoyable, except for the cold and windy

conditions.
