(meteorobs) Perseids from Iowa

I watched the Perseids from 11 pm last night till 5 am this morning.  For most of the session I had to contend with very thin cirrus moving thru at various times.  Also as the night wore on horizon haze became  much worse.  

My general impression compared to the previous night: more meteors but fewer fireballs.

Best Perseid: mag - 6 yellow with 12 second train; going South thru zenith

Long: 93 deg 34 min W  Lat: 42 deg 05 min N  Elevation: 1,030 feet (parking lot)

No Eridanids were seen; no obvious Beta Perseids.
