This was certainly not the same meteor. There were two different fireballs that 
night, the one over the UK and a second even brighter one over central Europe.

By the way, there are some reports in the Swiss press about alledged meteorites 
from the 2nd fireball having been found by a 19-yr old boy. This however is 
almost certainly a hoax: the images do not show fresh meteorites, but a tektite 
and iron shale.
