And since the well-known Metonic Cycle is equal to 19 years,  it means that 
this year's lunar circumstances are to be repeated in 2034 . . .  that is, 
the Moon will near first quarter, but will set well before midnight,  
leaving the sky dark and moonless for the "prime observing period" for the 2034  
Leonids.
