Screech Owl Hill Observatory, Mountain Meadows
Mathias, West Virginia - November 15, 2015
We had a couple hours of excellent transparency from 6:02-8:02 UT
to allow for seeing the different meteors visible. The NTA meteors
were still the dominant known source with the brightest meteors. There
was only one NTA fireball (-3), but the average NTA was 1.2 magnitude.
Still some very nice yellow-green and yellow-orange NTAs. One of the
most interesting meteors was a slow red meteor coming from near the
Great Square of Pegasus again. However no ANDs were seen from the
traditional radiant. A few late ORIs and some early LEOs were seen, as
well as a few NOO meteors. There was a surge of sporadics the second
hour. A lone Bared Owl was heard in the distance a couple times.
