Hi Paul, list,

Between the many clouds and severe gusts from a storm over Western Europe during the night 17/18, I was able to observe from my backyard during 4 periods.

22.50 - 00.00 UT: 1.17 hours Teff: 13 meteors (no Leonids)
01.00 - 02.00 UT: 1.00 hour Teff: 23 meteors (2 Leonids)
03.20 - 03.40 UT: 0.33 hour Teff: 10 meteors (4 Leonids)
04.30 - 05.30 UT: 1.00 hour Teff: 29 meteors (13 Leonids)

Last period is the last hour before morning twillight with the radiant high in the sky.

Magnitude distribution from all Leonids:

+0(1) + 1(2) +2(3) +3(6) +4(7)

As you can see from this small data set, Leonids were during the trad. maximum also rich in faint meteors and activity topped ZHR ~15-20, just as expected for this year.

The most beautiful meteor I saw in this night was a -5 Taurid!

Clear skies! For me: more clouds and rain....
