Hi everyone,

I went out earlier this month to look for the Draconids. Shane Finnigan joined me, and it was a pleasant evening session.

In over two hours, I saw 15 meteors (3 STA, 1 GIA and 11 sporadics).

The Draconid was a faint +4 but it lined up well with the radiant. Best meteor was a slow -1 sporadic with a 20 degrees path. A bonus was the brief appearance of a small but active aurora above the treeline. It was quite nice!
