Screech Owl Hill Observatory, Mountain Meadows
                     Mathias, West Virginia - July 11, 2016

We had excellent sky transparency again last night, except for some
haze at the start of the first hour. I recorded meteors from 4:10 UT to
6:10 UT. The brightest meteor was a -1 magnitude sporadic seen at
4:37 UT, but the prettiest meteor was a 1st magnitude PPS with a two
second train and blue-green color seen at 5:33 UT. As usual the Milky
Way star clouds and dark nebulae were awesome. Screech Owls and
Barred Owls were heard in the distance along with a close whippoorwill,
and the Tree Frogs and Field Crickets provided the background music
melody for meteor observing.
