Screech Owl Hill Observatory, Mountain Meadows
                 Mathias, West Virginia - March 9, 2016

Although the meteor rates were rather low, there was a possible
active radiant near Beta Auriga seen from 4:14 to 5:23 UT when
6 meteors of medium speed were seen coming form that area.
Unfortunately conditions deteriorated after that when the sky got
hazy and more cloudy. The best meteor seen came from that area.
It was a -2 magnitude meteor with yellow colored coma and a 1st
magnitude stellar nucleus. Observers and researchers should check
for this activity before, during, and after this time period to see if it
was possibly more than a 69 minute outburst. Other than the one
bright one that drew my attention to this area, most of the other 5
BAUs seen were around 4th magnitude.
