Greetings again meteor fans,
I was finally able to get out this morning for a brief look one hour
at the 2016 eta Aquariids - here's a quick summary : from 0410 - 510 EDT
(0810 - 910 UT) 8 ETAs, 1 eta Lyrid, 1 Anthelion and 7 sporadics - 18 total
meteors.
One of the ETAs was a yellow zero magnitude and the ANT was a
gorgeous -1 earthgrazer that covered almost 90 degrees of sky - awesome! I
also had two ETAs hit within a few seconds of each other at the start of
the hour.
Hopefully, our atrocious recent weather patterns are finally turning
around here and I can get out for the next several nights to monitor the
ETA max period. I'll submit a more dialed report on this morning later
on. Stay tuned...;o).

Clear skies all, Paul J in North Florida
