Hi Paul and All,

I plan to watch on the mornings of June 7 and 8. I have seen these meteors before and you greatly increase your chances of seeing any if you watch on or close to the date of maximum activity (June 7 this year). These meteors are striking as they are nearly all earthgrazers, long streaks and long lasting. They are not necessarily bright but they usually last a couple of seconds. Therefore dark skies may be more important than a perfectly clear eastern horizon. That may be tough with the early times of morning twilight this time of year, especially in higher northern latitudes.
