Description:
In Canes Venatici, at ~ ¾ ° NW of Chara. The observation of this galaxy was a little special because NGC 4490 is very near of a second weaker galaxy, NGC 4485, and I wondered whether what I saw were the addition of the 2 objects. For NGC 4490, the object is observed without problem with averted vision and I note that this galaxy is of modest size. In moments, the object becomes more brilliant. No other visible details.
