Description:
138X - NGC6239 with direct vision, appears as a faint, thin oval with an oval
core without a visable nucleus. The halo has a diffuse edge, brightning to a
long thin core. (Aproximately 0.6 eccentricity) Averted vision suggests that
there may be some mottling in the core. The halo does not show any structure
and there are not any other DSO's resolved in the FOV. There is a graceful
curved string of stars across north.
