Description:
A round halo of slightly mottled appearance.  It brightens rather abruptly
to a tiny, fairly bright, stellar core.  Located ~6' S. of an 8th magnitude
field star.  Visible with averted vision at 77x, it was best seen at 257x.

Uranometria 2000.0 (2nd edition) plots several additional galaxies inside
the same 128x (34') field with NGC194.  Except for NGC194 itself, none could
be seen.
