Description:
Limiting visual magnitude was estimated at around 3.50. I could see Megrez in the Big Dipper but not Chi Ursae Majoris at Mag 3.68. Visually, M3 looked almost identical to M5 as viewed on the previous night, except that it looked smaller. Very faint and fuzzy, yet clearly a large globular as viewed through the 35mm panoptic. The bad light pollution prevented any detail or points of light being observed.
