Description:
A uniform oval halo elongated NW-SE.  It brightens abruptly to a tiny,
bright, stellar core.  The galaxy forms an acute triangle with a wide
pair of 8th and 9th magnitude field stars, aligned N-S, located ~4' to
the E..  IC5283, plotted just off the N. edge, could not be seen.  Visible
with direct vision at 77x, the galaxy was best seen at 257x.
