Description:
A large, faint, uniform oval halo elongated E-W.  It shows slight, gradual,
diffuse brightening toward the core.  Visible with averted vision at 77x,
it was best seen at 193x and began to fade into the background at 257x.
The galaxy is located 10' SW of a 6th magnitude field star and was best
seen with the star positioned just outside the field.
