Description:
In Triangulum, at ~ 2 ½ ° SW of Alpha Tri. Beautiful open cluster, compact in
appearance. It presents a very characteristic ovoid form. Except HD 1142, no
member of the cluster is visible individually with the binoculars. Note that the
position provided by maps shift the object ~ 10 ' in the north of the real
position. This mapping error for this object is known for some time and present
in many atlases.
