Description:
A uniform round halo which abruptly brightens to a tiny stellar core.  Visible
with averted vision at 77x, it was best seen at 193x.  The galaxy is located
5' NW of a wide pairt of 8th and 9th magnitude field stars which are aligned
NE-SW..  NGC3069, which is plotted just to he NNW of NGC3070, could not be seen.
