Description:
M42: Bright; Dark nebula visible crossing through bright nebula, all four 
stars of the trapezium seen at 28x.

M43: Light haze above M42; no detail visible.

M45: Eyes-counted 8 stars, suspected 10-13 visible; Binoculars(10x50)-27 stars 
(+/- 2); Telescope(2.4 inch refractor)-26 stars counted; no nebulosity.

2 meteors flashed across the sky during this viewing.

Early in the morning, was chilly, very dewy and had to head in to get ready 
for school(Grade 8).
