At 244x magnification, a fairly faint halo that surrounds a tiny core and a
small round center (approx 15") is visible. Around 30" NW of the galaxy's halo
is a faint 14.4mag star. NGC5958 does almost resemble a faint planetary
nebula. Interesting object that is nicely located within a 5' triangle of 12.4
to 13.4 mag stars.
