Data: mag 9.3 size 17"
Position: RA 19 :44 DEC -14:
Description:
Very beautiful blue, round disk at 131x. At 342x the color is not as obvious
anymore but, some details are now apparent in the nebula. The area of the
center and just W of the center is slightly darker which gives 6818 the
appearance of a subtle ring. There is also a gap visible at the N edge of the
disk. The E edge seems to be brighter and wider than the W edge. Those details
appear more pronounced through the OIII filter.
