Description:
While waiting for the bus along a darker part
of the busway this morning, I enjoyed seeing
if I could glimpse a very bright area of the
Summer Milky Way - in particular, the mist of
stars lying along the "neck" of the Swan from
gamma Cyg down to Albireo (beta Cyg). Despite
both a crescent moon in the sky and the sadly
ever-increasing light glow in Homestead, I was
able to see this patch of haze quite clearly!
