Description:
A faint, uniform oval halo which is elongated NE-SW.  It gradually brightens
to a fairly bright, circular, nearly stellar core.  A 14th magnitude field
star is located on the S. edge.  A 9th magnitude star is 4' SW and the galaxy
itself lies 10' SW of an obtuse triangle of 8th and 9th magnitude stars.
Visible with averted vision at 128x, it bore magnification well and was best
seen at 257x.
