Description:
A uniform oval halo elongated NE-SW. Brightest along the axis of elongation,
it shows no detectable brightening toward the core. An 11th magnitude field
star is just off the E. edge. The galaxy is located ~12' NW of a wide pair
of 9th magnitude stars which are aligned nearly N-S. Visible with averted
vision at 77x, it was best seen at 257x.
