Description:
A uniform oval halo elongated NE-SW. It rather abruptly brightens to a
fairly bright, circular, nearly stellar core. Visible with direct vision
at 80x, it bore magnification well and was best seen at 267x. The galaxy
is located ~12' W. of a 6th magnitude field star. NGC600, plotted ~18' SSE,
could not be seen.
