At The Meteorite Brokerage we neither buy nor sell meteorites. Instead, we use our extensive connections and sound knowledge to find specimens that will be ideal for your collection, regardless of the size of your budget. Whether you are a novice or a seasoned collector we should be able to find something to your liking.

If you already have a meteorite collection and would like to sell or exchange some of your specimens, we can also put you in touch with people who may be interested in what you have to offer.

And if you think you have found a meteorite we will tell you how to get it tested, free of charge, and we may be able to find a buyer for you.

Why deal with a Broker instead of a Trader?

Although most meteorite traders are honest and reliable, sadly this is not always the case. Unless you know exactly what you are doing, you could easily get your fingers badly burnt. A trader could, for example, sell you a meteorite that has been stolen or smuggled out of a country where meteorite collecting is illegal. Or he could supply you with a piece of terrestrial rock and claim it is a meteorite (it does happen!). And if you are selling a meteorite, how do you know you are getting the best price?

We only deal with reputable traders and individuals - people we know we can trust. Whereas most traders have only a limited supply of meteorites, and may try to sell you something you don't really want, we can shop around for exactly the right specimen.

The Meteorite Brokerage can often negotiate a very favourable price - and we never pay over the odds!

We work on a commission only basis, so we get paid by results. In some cases we are prepared to waive our commission.

 Don't know what to buy? 
  • We will advise you on what meteorites are available and how much you should expect to pay. 
  • We will point out the pros and cons of buying certain types of meteorite and what you need to do to keep them in good condition. 
  • We will approach vendors - both private and commercial - and negotiate the best possible price. 
  • We will check the meteorite to ensure there are no apparent problems with it and, if necessary, get an independent expert assessment.
  • We will try to let you see the specimen on approval before you buy.
