RE:May 22 Fireball

Lew spoke exactly the question I pondered last light. I realized that I
only had a fuzzy mental concept of what a -11 would be. I seemed to recall
the Full moon being -12, but wasn't sure, so I had to look it up in the
NAMN Guide and Spiritual Resource Manual. I also thought, exactly how do
you translate the extended surface of a full moon to a point (Fat point?)
of light moving across the sky? It is I suppose a similar exercise to
estimating comet megnitudes..dot defocusing the point to fill the sky area?
(PS finally had clear enough sky to spot Hale-Bopp for the first time last
night with my 10X50 binocs). So, Mark, it's now time to ascend to the hot
seat! Sleepy, blurry-eyed minds want to know.
