Re: (meteorobs) confessions of a deep-sky'er

Very often I'm torn between looking thru my telescope ( I just bought a 16"
Dob) and pulling out my lawn chair and classical music to watch for meteors.
I have to run to the rural section of western NJ.
I live so close to NYC that I have an uninterupted view of the Twin Towers
and Empire State Building so I know what light pollution is. I was able to
look at the sky not to long ago from work and I figured my limiting magnitude
was about 2.5 !!!
