(meteorobs) June Arietids

Tom,

The June Arietids peak AROUND June 7. This is not a narrow peak so
activity could be visible for several days either side of this date. I
have only seen 5 or so of these meteors. All of them have been of long
lengths and duration as they shoot upwards from the northeastern
horizon. They are striking meteors, an enjoyment to the eye.
Unfortunately the moon will interfere during this period in 1996.
