Pretty neat post, Gary! For the sake of curious amateur meteoricists, can I 
suggest putting some of this information out on your Web site? Maybe a primer 
page on how to get started with this sort of analysis, and what to do with it? 
I'm just starting up a little amateur weather observation station myself, and 
like George I'd be interested in trying this (as an adjunct to both hobbies!)

And please feel free to use 'meteorobs' as a conduit for reporting any analysis 
of yours, by the way! Others can correct me if I'm wrong, but I think it would 
be of interest to many of us readers?
