(meteorobs) alignment errors (Was Re: June Lyrids)

That's interesting! I'm embarrassed to admit that I hadn't been aware of any 
correlation between altitude and visual alignment error until you mentioned 
this! (May have known about it as a youngster, but I'd long forgotten.) What 
sort of error gets introduced as the radiant increases in altitude? Are there 
any tricks of the trade for avoiding these perception errors?
