At last my alarm woke me to a sky that was clear, so I made the most of it
and got about 4 hours of observing done. Because of the recent talk of early
Perseids and the meteors radiating from near eta Per, I paid particular
attention to this area of sky. Only one meteor was seen coming from the eta
Per area. My last hour of observing should have overlapped with the west
coast folks, so I am looking forward to seeing their summary.
