Re: (meteorobs) Other Perseid Radiants

Can't vouch for everyone, but I know that recent BAA determinations
of Perseid radiants position have been carried out in a 3-4 day
'window' either side of max. Sure, this doesn't exclude the
possibility of other radiants early in the shower, but it still tends
to suggest that a complex structure at maximum is unlikely despite
claims to the contrary from some visual sources... Maybe Gary Kronk
has something to input here from his trawl of photo databases? There
have been suggestions in the past that the propsed Alpha-Beta Per
radiant is most evident in early August, in which case early-bird
photographers may have recorded it.
