(meteorobs) minor showers

Minor shower activity is pretty much overlooked for the most part.  As Mark
explained, Major showers is usually pushed on the new observers to get
started. Afterwards if anyone seems to be getting a grasp on them, I will
encourage minor showers to add to their observing menu.  As some of the other
observers out there know, it's a long haul to record meteor data if the
activity is quite a bit on the low side. Minor shower detection is just on
the edge of human capabilities, so it takes a  methodical way of recording
these showers...otherwise you enter the realm of chance and false detections.
 Not all possible detections will pan out to be something...hopefully the Xi
Draconids and the eta Perseids will, but these will most likely take several
years of careful plotting, recording, and photography to become established.
You can only go on the leads detected.
