I finally made it out to George's Observatory but conditions were less
than perfect. Smoke from a brushfire in Mexico continued to lower the
limiting magnitude plus cirrocumulus caused some interference the last
two hours. The highlight of the night was a -2 yellow Alpha Cap that
shot through Cepheus. It was a good thing that I was not planning to
face southward this morning since that area of the sky was cloudy
almost the entire session.
