(meteorobs) Cloudiness in New England

For your reading pleasure (and to engender all possible sympathy from those
outside our local area), here are the average percentage-cloudy nights for a
representative area of Southern New England, USA, as measured by local pro
meteorologist Jim Corbin. I also quote from one of his messages regarding his
simple-but-effective observing methodology. Enjoy or weep, as the case may be!

And thanks again, Jim!

================================= FORWARDED DATA FOLLOWS =====================

	"In general, I use a 0 to 10 to log the cloud cover. If
	 half the night is cloudy, then it clears, it's a 5. If cloudy, a 10.
	 If skies are BKN all night, it's somewhere in between. If clear,
	 cloud cover is 0. I total these up.

	I also keep avg dewpoints daily. If the temp falls to the dewpoint,
	 ordinarily fog will form and thus some 'cloudcover'."
