Well, the weather here in the UK is back to the usual crap standard for August. Whether we'll get anything of the Pereid max remains to be seen - one version of the forecast, typically, suggests fine weather after Tuesday.... Ho-hum, it looks like the run of bad luck starting with the 1993 shower continues. Weather notwithstanding, I'm out of circulation now till Wednesday, so I'll wish you guys luck for the next few nights. NB
