May I stress, as usual, that these data are in no way intended to
offend, make people feel inadequate, and certainly not jealous....
sorry, but I've had some hate mail on the Internet recently, and I'm
just trying to avoid MORE!
Remember, that the person who only observes FOUR hours a year, is just
as valuable and vital to the global effort, as the person who does FOUR
HUNDRED. It is what the GLOBAL TEAM achieves as a WHOLE, that matters!
Some of us, with no family, or paid job, are able to observe more than
others.... that is our informed choice. We never do it to put down
others.... please remember that, my friends, colleagues, and fellow
meteor workers!
To those going to the 1996 IMC at Apeldoorn this month, best wishes and
have a GREAT TIME THERE!!!!!
Bye for now,
Your humble colleague in the service of humankind
