Do you really need all this technical stuff? I used a tape-recorder to
log meteors for nearly ten years. I threw it away a couple of years ago.
There are always some if's and but's with technical stuff, especially
in a cold climate like in Norway.
Now I use a simple roll of paper that I write blindly on. I've never
been more satisfied - oh, well, during meteor observations, at least.
